Pony Club WA Service Award

The Pony Club WA Service Award (‘’S’’ Certificate) recognises the outstanding contribution of individuals to the Association over years and is therefore only awarded in exceptional circumstances.

The service can be at Club, Zone or Association level and may be:

  • Participation on committee at club, zone or state level
  • Junior committee member
  • Other services such as organiser of events and administration at all levels, canteen duties, first aid (humans), fundraising organiser, chief judge/chief steward of championship events, organiser of rally days, road safety organiser, etc.
  • Assisting Coaching, where a Coaching Certificate is not held
  • Assisting instructing in trade skills
  • Coach/Manager for team events at club, zone, state or national level.
  • Officiating
  • Other volunteer work

Nominations for the Pony Club WA Service Award are accepted and awarded annually by the Pony Club WA Board.

Successful Nominees are then notified by Pony Club WA of their Award, which is presented on a suitable occasion.

Pony Club WA Service to Coaching Award

The Pony Club WA Service Award (‘’S’’ Certificate) recognises the outstanding contribution of individuals to the Association over years and is therefore only awarded in exceptional circumstances.

The service can be at club, zone or state level and may be:

  • Bronze Service Award
    Awarded for exceptional service to club/zone/state/coaching over 5-10 years
  • Silver Service Award
    Awarded for exceptional service to club/zone/coaching over 10-15 years
  • Gold Service Award
    Awarded for exceptional service to club/zone/state/coaching over 15 plus years

Nominations for the Pony Club WA Service to Coaching Awards are accepted and awarded annually.
Service Awards can be awarded at Bronze, Silver or Gold level ensuring that recognition can be awarded to a member more than once over a length of time.

The State Coaching Panel must recommend the Candidate for the award of “S” Certificate through the completion of the nomination form.

Pony Club WA Citizenship Award

The Pony Club WA Citizenship Award (formerly Shell and Vetsearch Award) commenced in 1994 is was awarded to an Associate Riding Member of a Pony Club WA affiliated club who has given constant and practical services to his or her club.

To be considered worthy of this award, the Associate Riding Member must:

  • be helpful;
  • be courteous at all times;
  • be thoughtful;
  • be a positive role model for younger members;
  • uphold the Aims and Objectives of Pony Club WA at their club.

Please note: riding ability and participation in teams, is irrelevant, and is not a determining factor when nominating an Associate Member for the Award.

An Associate Riding Member can only receive this award once.

The Pony Club WA Citizenship Award is the highest honour for service, and only Associate Members who have given outstanding service should be consider.

Nominations for the Pony Club WA Citizenship Award are accepted and awarded annually by the Pony Club WA Board.

Successful Nominees are then notified by Pony Club WA of their Award, which is presented on a suitable occasion.

Pony Club WA Margaret Campbell Award

The Pony Club WA Margaret Campbell Award recognises the exceptional contribution of individuals to sport in pony club.

The Pony Club WA Margaret Campbell Award recognises the exceptional contribution of individuals to sport in the following areas:

  • Development of sport
  • Development of officials
  • Development of rules and procedures
  • Development of riders
  • Officiating
  • Volunteering
  • Other contributions

Nominations for the Pony Club WA Margaret Campbell Award are accepted and awarded annually.

Each Pony Club WA Sport Committee can recommend one Candidate for the Margaret Campbell Award through the completion of the nomination form.
